For sixteen years we cared for children from 6 months to 6 years. As of this summer we care for them up to 12 years old, at both our centres.
Where it runs
Wainwright — Out of School Care operates at 1037 – 2 Avenue, a short walk from our main daycare at 1040 – 1 Avenue.
Wetaskiwin — OSC runs in the same building as the daycare, at unit #1840, 3725 56 Street. If you have a toddler and a nine-year-old, that is one drop-off instead of two.
What it is
A safe, fun, engaging space before and after school, with the same educators and the same approach that has always defined us — children lead, adults follow, and nobody is rushed. Hours are the same as the daycare: Monday to Friday, 6:45am to 5:30pm.
The one thing to know
OSC does not include school pick-up or drop-off. Getting your child between school and the centre is on you. We say this loudly because it is the single most common assumption families make, and we would rather set the expectation now than disappoint you in September.
